How do I mix epoxy floor paint?

Pour the activator (in the smaller can) into the base (in the larger can). Attach a paint mixer-paddle to a drill – this is like a plaster paddle. You can buy a paint-mixer in our Tools and Extras section here.  Mix for a couple of minutes using the drill and paddle, making sure to get right down to the bottom of the can. Some particles are heavier than others and will naturally sink to the bottom in transit, so make sure to mix well. Leave to stand for 5-10 minutes prior to use – this is called induction time or sweating time.
